The Galaxy
The Galaxy is a Group 1 open handicap thoroughbred race run by the Australian Turf Club. The race is held annually in March or April at Rosehill Racecourse in Sydney, Australia and held over a distance of 1100 metres.
Each year the race draws a quality field of sprinters fighting it out for the A$400,000 prizemoney on offer.
The Galaxy is one of the feature sprint races of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.
