Chipping Norton Stakes
The 2014 Chipping Norton Stakes is a Group 1 thoroughbred race held over a distance of 1600 metres. The race is held in February or March each year in Sydney NSW with total prize money of A$350,000.
The Chipping Norton Stakes is the first Group 1 for NSW of the year and kicks of the Sydney autumn racing carnival.
The race is considered to be a good prep race for the Doncaster Handicap and the Sydney Cup.
