Champagne Stakes
The Champagne Stakes is a Group 1 horse race for two-year-old Thoroughbreds run at set weight conditions over a distance of 1600 metres.
The race is run at Randwick Racecourse each year during the Sydney Autumn Carnival and put on by the Australian Turf Club.
With the prize money in 2016 being A$400,000, it is sure to attract a quality field of thouroughbreds.
